The Annual Meeting of the professional of the Mining Industry
The Congress of the SIM (Societé de l’Industrie Minérale), gathers each year in a different town all the persons in charge of the exploitation of a mine, quarry, cement factory, industrial mineral and recycling platform.
This year, The SIM will be held in Perpignan, at the Parc des Expositions. This region of Languedoc-Roussillon is well-known for it importante production of materials. There are 268 Quarries in Languedoc-Roussillon. All around this district you will find a lot’s of aggregates : 348 plants in Midi-Pyrénées, 240 Quarries in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, 226 plants in Auvergne.
