How did you come to work at ASCOREL?<\/div>\n

Whilst looking for an end-of-studies placement, I came across a vacancy at Ascorel which described a project that caught my attention: the development of control software for a crane model.<\/p>\n

As I specialise in embedded systems, this topic struck me as very interesting. I went for the interview and was accepted! During my placement, I was offered a position as an embedded software engineer at ASCOREL.<\/p>\n

I was delighted to have received this offer; it encouraged me to continue working on my internship project and gave me a huge boost of self-confidence. It\u2019s now been six months since I started my permanent contract and a year since my internship, and it\u2019s the best decision I\u2019ve ever made.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n

What are your responsibilities?<\/div>\n
\n

My responsibilities are varied: they mainly involve working on several projects, such as anti-collision systems, weighing systems and work platforms, in collaboration with various clients.<\/p>\n

This versatility has served me well within the design office, where I have become a key member of staff. Being able to tackle a range of different topics is a major asset both for me and for ASCOREL.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, I also carry out weighing tests prior to product delivery, thereby ensuring its compliance and quality; furthermore, I am responsible for documenting each task, meticulously describing every step taken, from start to finish.<\/p>\n

This detailed documentation enables us to track the development process and provides valuable references for future stages of the project.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What were you doing before?<\/div>\n
\n

Before joining Ascorel, I was a final-year student at Ensim, the \u00c9cole Nationale d\u2019Ing\u00e9nieurs du Mans, as part of an exchange programme with my home institution, ESPRIT, the \u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure nationale priv\u00e9e d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs et de technologies in Tunisia.<\/p>\n

In March, I moved to Lyon to begin my end-of-studies placement at ASCOREL, and that\u2019s when the adventure began.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What do you like most about your job?<\/div>\n
\n

What I enjoy most about my job is the variety of projects I work on. It helps me gain a better understanding of my role and get to know all our products.<\/p>\n

Every phase brings its own set of challenges and questions, which makes my work very rewarding.<\/p>\n

I also appreciate the opportunity to try out new working methods, work on new projects and discover new technologies. That\u2019s exactly what I enjoy most about my job.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Do you work in a team on certain projects?<\/div>\n
\n

Yes, I work as part of a team on certain projects. Collaborative working is essential for exchanging ideas, solutions and questions.<\/p>\n

It also helps save time on certain bottlenecks that might hinder the project\u2019s progress. At ASCOREL, we usually form teams of two to three people for each project.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019m involved in a range of areas, I\u2019m fortunate to work with different people throughout each project.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

At ASCOREL, the working atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly.<\/p>\n

The team is dynamic and collaborative, which creates an atmosphere that encourages the exchange of ideas and cooperation. Personally, I feel very much at ease and well integrated into this environment.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Have you had the opportunity to attend any training courses? (Relevant to your role, or otherwise\u2026)<\/div>\n
\n

At ASCOREL, the working atmosphere is not only friendly but also highly stimulating from a professional point of view.<\/p>\n

The team actively encourages skills development and offers training opportunities tailored to our roles and individual needs. Personally, I have had the opportunity to attend several training courses, notably on CANOpen and information security.<\/p>\n

These courses have enabled me to deepen my knowledge in areas essential to my work and to keep up to date with the latest practices and technologies.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s commitment to the professional development of its employees goes a long way towards creating a positive and motivating working atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Do you have any hobbies?<\/div>\n
\n

For me, painting is a relaxing and rewarding activity; I love sitting in front of a blank canvas with my brushes and my palette of colours, and letting my imagination guide my strokes.<\/p>\n

Creating paintings allows me to escape from everyday life and immerse myself in an artistic world where I can express my emotions and my view of the world. It\u2019s a wonderful way to channel my creativity and find a balance in my busy life.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you could have just one superpower, which one would you choose?<\/div>\n
\n

If I had to choose just one superpower, it would be the ability to go back in time. Imagine being able to correct past mistakes, relive precious moments or even explore different possibilities by changing certain events. It would be an incredible opportunity to learn and grow, and it could also have a positive impact on my future.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you\u2019d do?<\/div>\n
\n

If I won the lottery, the first thing I\u2019d do would be to travel all over the world to discover new cultures, landscapes and experiences. Next, I\u2019d like to buy lots of presents for my parents, spoiling them and showing them how grateful I am for all their support and love over the years.<\/p>\n
