The ASCOTRONICS Group was formed in October 2015 following the merger of ANNECY
ELECTRONIQUE and ASCOREL, which were founded in 1973 and 1988 respectively. The group now employs around 100 people.

As part of the expansion of ASCOREL, based in Pont-Evêque, we are currently seeking new talent. ASCOREL employs around sixty highly qualified staff.

Renowned for its expertise and its embedded and connected systems for loaders, cranes and aerial work platforms, ASCOREL’s mission is to ensure safety and efficiency on construction sites.

In light of this, we are looking for a Field Technician

Role and responsibilities:

You will join the Technical Support Department, comprising around fifteen technicians and technical experts based throughout France. The role is based in the Drôme and Isère regions.

 

Working with our weighing systems for construction machinery, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, commissioning and troubleshooting our products
  • Training our customers in the use of our products
  • Providing technical support to our customers over the telephone
  • Carrying out assignments in France and occasionally abroad

 

You will receive initial training to help you settle in and prepare you as effectively as possible for your new role. Twice a year, you will attend seminars and training courses at the company’s head office to enhance your skills and familiarise yourself with our new products.

 

Ideal candidate:

  • With a technical background, you have good interpersonal skills
  • You are methodical and meticulous in adhering to standards and instructions; you have an excellent customer service ethos and are dynamic and self-reliant
  • You have a perfect command of English (minimum B2 level) and are able to travel abroad without restriction. You are comfortable using IT
  • IT and office software to report on service calls
  • You have experience in the maintenance of technical equipment, including fault diagnosis and on-site repairs, on electronic, electrotechnical, mechanical or hydraulic systems

 

Contract type:

Permanent contract – Non-executive classification (annual fixed-term contract for 218 days + RTT)

 

Remuneration:

Gross annual salary range (full-time over 12 months): between €34,000 and €35,000 depending on experience and profile
